Book VI.74-87

Only do not entrust your verses/prophecies to leaves
lest they fly about, disarranged, (as) playthings for the rapid winds;
I beg you to sing them yourself." He gave an end of his speaking from his mouth. (PLEONASM)
But the prophetess, not yet enduring (submissive to) Apollo rages wildly in her
cave, if she might be able to shake the great god from her chest;
so much more he tires out her rabid mouth,
taming her wild heart, and he molds her by controlling.
And now the 100 huge mouths/entrances of the/her house
opened of their own accord and carry the answers of the prophetess through the breezes:
"O you who have survived the great dangers of the sea
(but more serious dangers await you on land), the Dardanidae/Trojans
shall come into the kingdoms of Lavinia (dismiss this concern from your heart),
but will also wish that they had not come. I see wars, dreadful wars,
and the Tiber/Thybris foaming with much blood.
